Skyshine is a blog about the ecological, sociological and psychological state of the world. It is an exploration of the epoch changing problems that humanity is facing at the moment due to the ways in which we are rapidly using up many of our basic recourses such as food, water, minerals and energy whilst simultaneously creating mountains of waste that are wrecking the environment. In particular it is an exploration of the psychology and sociology that leads us to behave in these ways and an exploration of how we and our society, from individuals to global organisation, can change.

It is also a blog about me, Sky Wickenden, and my quest to work in a local, sustainable way, connecting on a human, emotional level with people within walking distance, whilst at the same time interacting with a global network and helping towards making global changes.
